My Sony WM-1 headphone jacks are shorting out

I only get one channel unless I wiggle the jack, then I can get both channels. I've tried other headphones, so I know the problem is in the jack (seems to be a common problem with these players). I took one apart but with the circuit board, getting to the jack appears to be very difficult. Is there anything I can try as quick fix? Thanks!
