Six Blinks

When I turn the power on the timer/standby light blinks red six times and goes out. it will then repeat itself as long as the power is on. Can you tell me what is going on with this and what i might need to replace to fix it? I can change the parts I just need to know what to change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
