Thanks for the fix!! (Sony DSC white screen of death)

I did exactly as stated...smartly tapped the logo on the front of the camera. Seems to work fine now. I googled Sony DSC "White Screen" and this forum was result number one. Saved me money and worry and time!! Thanks
