jvc tv problem

I have a 61" jvc flat screen tv and i was sitting on the chair then noticed a black rectange box on the bottom right hand corner of the tv that was darker then the rest of the tv (by the way the tv was off when i noticed this) So i went over thinking there was somthing on the tv and there wasnt...so i turned the tv on and the picture on the rest of the tv is fine except that black rectange at the bottom thats the size of a 5$ bill. I was wondering what it could be. the model of the tv is hd61g787
