During cable tv broadcast, there is sound but no picture. The picture works fine for DVD and VHS viewing.

This same problem occured with my Father-in-law and he thought there was a combination of buttons he pressed on the remote that solved the problem. The problem occured after it was unplugged for a period of time... Help! it's practically brand new.
