JVC HD-ILA TV 2 years old & Power & Lamp LED Lights Blinking in Sync

Hi there, Ok, so in the middle of the game the other night the TV goes out. No picture, the Power & Lamp LED light blink together. I unplugged for a few minutes then started again. Same thing. Tried unplugging the TV for a day and letting it sit, made sure all the vents in the back were not obscured or blocked & still having the same problems. I have not replaced the lamp as the instruction manuel indicates this problem usually happens after replacement. Should I? Or is there a deeper problem that I should be looking for?
