Details of legs

Can u illustrate me how to fix the 3 legs on a PCB? I mean can u show how to identify the no. of the legs i.e.1,2,3? Please reply asap.

    on both regulators, pin 1 is input, pin 2 is ground, pin 3 is output. 7809 outputs 9 volts, 7812 outputs 12 volts. input voltage should be at least 3 volts higher that output.
