Hi Guys I dropped it and whacked it! Was about to give up when I smacked it intp my hand twice and 'hey presto' it worked!!!! Fantastic!!!! Cheers Guys ;-)

My W1 started getting the E61:00 message & the lens wouldn't shut unless I shoved it closed. I thought it was dead so I did what you suggested & tapped it hard a few times on the palm of my hand & it worked!! Thanks for the suggestion.
