DR-MH30S is a disaster. Poor design. Poor set-up etc...who nvented this piece of crap ?

I have had this thing and have never gotten past the "LOADING". Have now sent it back for repair two times and after the second time it actually loaded and i got it to record a test piece from my cable tv box. turned it off...went to bed only to wake up to the "LOADING" problem again. Would have been so much better if the design let you do this manually instead of at plug-in. At least i could actually turn it on and off instead of being stuck in a "LOADING" loop. Does anybody know a reset sequence of button pushes for this or will I have to send it back again. I have never gotten to use this thing at all...it just has never worked.
