HomeDigital video recorder gr-d33u won't record or playback Hi, First I remove the lens cover. Then set the camcorder to 'A'. The lens cap message blinks for a few seconds then I see an error that indicates there is not enough contrast in what I'm focusing on (the icons look like a mountain + forward and back + a person). Nothing is displayed on the LCD or through the viewfinder. It doesn't matter what the camera is focused on the error continues. I've tried cleaning the lens to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks! Sharon

What you describe suggests one of the various symptoms of the lens cap problem, however "SPEED OF ACTION IS OF THE ESSENCE" as the free repair offer ends on the first of October. I would have sent you contact details, but couldn't do as you restricted your e-mail address. |
