File Error in DSC-W100

I have sony DSC-W100 camera and I bought 1Gb duo stick. After clicking few photographs and movie video, I am getting File error for some photographs and videos. Can any body help how to retrieve these photographs and how can I prevent this. Thanks in advance. Ajay
