Wiring Adapter for Nutone IM-6004 - IMA 6604

I am currently seeking to upgrade ftom a 6004 to a 6604. Currently, my wiring is a flat grey with 6 imbedded wires with a female cross bar that plugs into the speaker. The new speakers require the wiring be mounted in 6 seperate places. Does anyone have any information on an adapter? I don't want to strip the flat grey imbedded wire. Instead, I am looking for an adapter that will plug into it and allow me to connect the six individual wires. Thanks for your help.
