I had the same problem with the same model (W30) and was starting to get a little scared with all the threads and posts out there, but I did download the Manual and the instruction was to initialize the camera. Go to Menu > Setup > Setup 1 > nitialize > OK Then set up the date and stuff, and you're ready to go! Hope I've helped.

Hey I just wanted to say thanks for the help. I took my camera to the local camera guy who didn't even look at my camera but claimed that it could be sent away for about $250 or I could buy a new one for a little more. Thankfully the initialization worked. Thanks so much! |
