If this only applies to the playing back of tapes, including previously recorded ones from some time ago, then there is a possibility that the video heads require "proper" cleaning. However info on this has to be sent to a DIRECT e-mail address as it contains a JPEG attachment for illustration purposes, this achieved by clicking on my RED link (only on!) and NOT withholding your e-mail address, as its only seen by myself and used purely for reply purposes.
