Fault in Cybershot DSC-P7

My Sony DSC-P73 has a fault. When I turn on the power button, the lens goes out and in make a clicking noise . A message comes up on the screen saying please turn off/on camera but this does not work. Where are you situated and do you think this problem can be fixed. Kind regards, Alexander
