Homecannot record Hello, I recently came into possesion of this unit. when I try to record I keep getting the message " no audio disc "however the little window beside the level meters says CD-R. and when I push play on the cd-r, I get " blank disc " message. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong??? Thanks peter

Ni, I am using the correct CD's. It just started this problem. Hi, I have a JVC XL R-5000 First of all, it is one of the most complicated and sensitive machines ever made, but that's not my problem. Here's the problem. I put a blank disk in,Memorex, which is the only one is seems to like, and now it comes back No CDR. I don't know if I can fix it myself, where can I get it serviced in Los Angeles? Thanks These machines require "music" CDs - these are special CDs and aren't what you would put into a computer for recording. If you aren't using these special music CDs, that is likely your problem. |
