HomeColor Sony TV is slow to present screen. My color Sony TV has recently started to take 5 minutes or so before the screen images appear. In other words, the screen remains dark although the audio is on. Once it warms up, the picture appears. Then after a few minutes it goes blank (dark as if it were shut off). Then it comes back on an generally remains on. What do you think it is?

Model#?? check crt board and tuner for bad connections. there may be a pre tuner with a common bad solder connection. |
