I have just purchased a brand new Funai DVD/Video Recorder and am getting the same message even though I have tried 3 different makes of DVD-R/DVD-RW. This is very frustrating. Whats going on? I havent even tried to record because I can't. As soon as the disc is entered and formatting begins the message appears. These are brand new discs! Dodgy Funai batch or something?
