Sony E:61:00 error message

A few weeks ago the E:61:00 message appeared on the screen of our Sony 120x Video Camera but then disappared. It reappared yesterday though and would not go - not good time as my daughter is on the verge of taking her first steps and is 1 next weekend. I did not want to send it off for repair so thought I would 'Google' the error message - thank goodness I found this page - I clobbered the camera a few times with my hand and then dropped it on the carpet, turned the power on and off and it is now working as good as new. Thanks!
