Dear list members: Dear Stacy:I bought through internet a jvc camcorder GR-D270U. The tape does not moves inside the camcorder. A repair person opened it and found that the continuity of the flat cable (that is applied inside the camcorder with multiple ramifications) has been damaged (partially interrupted). He said that I should replace the whole parts to which the cable has attachments. I like to know whether his recommendation is correct (one can not replace just the cable, not the whole physical parts, that is almost all of the camcorder), and second, how can I secure either the cable or the whole parts. I received the camcorder while i was in san francisco but now I am in Iran, with no access to JVC heaqdquarters. Thank you very much for your kind advise, With best regards, Sincerely, Javaad
