How to fix the lamp?

It turns on then right back off!! It’s a Samsung HLS5088W. I had a tech come out! I told him what I found on the screen..... line and red light blinking. He said the lamp has blown out, and then after spending over 1 1/2 hour said it would take $450 to fix it. I searched out the lamp its of $109.99 only. Is there any way to fix the lamp by myself? Any idea? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
