Broken Sony Mavica CD350

The wheel that holds the cds in place on my Mavica CD350 camera has fallen off. Every thing else works perfectly. I can push the little spindle back in place but when I turn the camera on I can hear the cd flopping all over everywhere and I get an error reading. Can I just glue that little wheel back in place?
