help me with advice please

My Tv turns on for 3-4 seconds with lime greenish color with sound and blurred picture. Then it shut right off. I can't turn it back on unless I unplug it for 30 seconds and replug it back in. Then the same thing happens. Is it trashed? Or is there a simple repair for it? RAC
