I have a BVW-65 deck and I'm getting "error code 08". The tape doesn't thread it just lowers the casette, opens it pulls the tape out to the head and stops. It ejects fine, but that's it. The boards all seem to be seated, but I just got this thing to play some tapes so I can digitise them.
