Sony digicam VX2000E error 31:40 fixed.

My Sony VX2000E digicam in VCR mode refused duty and showed error message 31:40. Removing and replacing the battery and reloading the cassette faied to work.I read some of your threads which I now cannot find which led to a successful outcome. For the benefit of others with this problem I rammed the cassette in fairly hard, then poked the cassette carriage hard into position before closing the case. It worked - all is now OK!
