When looking at the back of the camera (with the LCD screen), turn the dial towards the top right so that the dash on the camera itself lines up with the green camera picture on the dial. That's what worked for me anyways, I hope it does for you as well.

Hello. I was curious if the fix mentioned worked. I have the same error and so far have not been able to get around it, even after trying the default mode. Thanks
