Wiring a bullet cam up to my Digital Recorder ??

I own a JVC GR-DVL320A digital camcorder and I am wanting to add a bullet cam to it. It has the AV input socket so i thought I would be able to do it. However, I cannot find a menu to change the recording settings, I believe you should change the Video mode to AV Input so you can record from the other cam. Does anybody know if this camera can do it ??
