No Picture - Power Light Flashing

While watching the AV 36050 (about 5 yrs. old) today, it simply turned off. It wont power back up - red light on front just flashes...we unplugged and plugged back in...it turns itself on...no picture, and red light keeps flashing. Any diagnosis? Recommmendations?
