sony np-1 bc-1wd charger

Does anybody happen to have this charger? It's for the Sony NP-1 brick style batteries. I'm wondering what the indicator lights mean. There is green flashing and red flashing. Also, will this charge a replacement NiMH NP-style battery I bought? I think this BC-1WD was originally designed for NiCad batteries
