Camcorder in E06 Safe Mode

I was not using my Camcorder JVC Europe model for few months Today 10/08/07 when I switched on it shows the message "E06 it is in Safemode, Remove the battery and fix it after few minutes." I tried it several times, but of no use" Can you suggest what should I do
