Kevin, If you remove the top cover and look on the inside of it, you should find a paper with the instructions printed there. If not, write back and I'll send you the procedure. However, that error # is saying that there is something wrong with either the tape that got stuck or the machine itself. It's saying "Tape Slack" which covers a myriad of possible reasons for the tape getting stuck. Let me know what you find when you remove the cover and look down in the machine; be as detailed as possible. Do you know how the machine moves the tape in the machine? If so, look at the guides and threading ring and tell me where they are relative to the front of the mechanism. Mike, VSSC
