I can not turn off my camera!

My Sony DSC-P150 will continuosly turn on, I have to pop the battery out if I don't want it to run the battery down. The bad thing is that it will not take a charge at all. When I turn plug the charger onto it, eventually, the camera will turn on and stop charging. It won't turn off at all, is the button stuck, how can i get this fixed? any suggestions. PLEASE HELP, i love this camera!
