VN-9500 Nikon Hi8 Camcorder made under license from Sony (sorry dont know the Sony equivalent model number). Until very recently was in perfect working order. However,it suddenly stopped working. No recording, playing or even ejection of cassette is

possible. There is just white light in the view finder. Despite the age of this equipment it is in an excellent condition. I would still like to use it. Please help me to fix the problem. All positive ideas would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
