I have a JVC AV-24230 that is a few years old and I have a unique problem that just popped up. After exiting the menu the volume is displayed below as ususal After the volume bar diappears the black menu backgeround reappeaers in the middle of the set and I can't figure out hoe to get rid of it. I have tried may things including un-plugging it for several days and changing the background og the menu function to blank. The latter blanks out the background when in the menu function and the black background re-appears after exiting asnd the volume status disappears. The only other time that I can get the errant black background to dissappear is when I'm changing volume or channels. I hope that you can help. Regards, paul
