Home | First message in thread | Previous messageJust a side question. At work here, I am having some electrical trouble, which translates into "too many things on one circuit" trouble. Would not having "enough" power to draw from be a factor in that! I can't really shut it down cause it's a photocopier and it is in the process of a huge order right now. But would that be one cause of it shutting down like that!?

Very unlikely Darren, as a very low supply voltage would have an effect of causing a TVs picture to pull in from "all" sides to quite a severe level leaving the picture about half its normal size, to do that the mains voltage would have to drop about 20% (to 192v UK or 88v US) and if anything else was operating on the same circuit I am sure at these levels it would show up on whatever else was being used. The other point is of course (without wishing to seem a prophet of doom!) that the chassis in the model you have is known for these kind of faults to happen. |
