Dear JVC service centre, I got my own JVC camcorder model JDX77 bought last 3 years. Yesterday after i recorded then i want to download into my PC, it can't play..and error code appear on screen " E06, Safeguard mode, remove battery and re-attach" Can you reply to me with the troubleshooting guide ASAP. Your immediate reply and help is most appreciated.

    E-06 fault indicates that the capstan is not turning properly, this can be caused (at the very least) by a cassette that is wound on too tightly, or indeed faulty. Should another tape work OK, then you will have to back off the tension in the one you recorded on, if however there was no difference with another tape then there is a fault in the capstan drive.
