Multi System TV Malfunctioning?

I have a Multi System (Dual Voltage) TV (Mo No. AV-21QM63) i brought with me back from Europe. Now, using 120V (when i used to use 240V), it works but i see a light on inside the tv in the back and it makes a random 'pop' sound. I doubt it is supposed to do this - what is wrong?
