HomeSound works fine - white line in center of screen - no picture. I have a 27" JVC model AV-2751S television (bought approximately 1991 or 1992). Problem just devleoped - when we turn the TV on, sound works fine but there is a thin white line across the middle of the screen. There is no other picture other than this line. Ira, that's a fairly common problem actually. You've got bad part(s) in the Vertical Output circuit - either IC or 2 transistors, don't remember which that model uses. It's a job for a tech but shouldn't be too big a job $$$ to fix. Info supplied on your second posting. |
