So far, this is not working for me. It's all the way to the right to start with. When I do get it to "click" it goes to the middle of its track on the next try and stops. Still getting the H03 message.

I do not know who you are but thank you so much for fixing my DVD player by giving me the idea to move the laser . I also just pushed it to the right and it now works OK. Thanks again, Geoff Kaiser

same issue as above, used the suggestion and moved the laser to the right which engaged the drive motor, great work
