Its a bit strange you haven't got an E-02 or 03 error code showing along with this problem! however if it does this on more than one tape then there is nothing you can really do, as the case will have to be separated for an investigation to be made of the drive mechanism, as it would suggest the take up spindle is not turning properly. (this being E-03)
