Just inherited a car for my son who is a new driver. It has a JVC KD-SX980 installed. The cd player works fine and his iPod works through the auxillary input. However, the tuner will not let me set stations or seek strations. It has many stations preset that have nothing on that spot on the band. Any idea what the issue could be? Is this problem most likely with the faceplate or in the body of the unit itself? I might be able to pick up a replacement faceplate on eBay pretty cheaply, but if the tuner electronics are in the body it probably won't solve the problem. Thanks for any help you can give.
