Camera Not working Properly

I dropped my Camera and now the Lens gets stuck and wont come all the way out ..also the Flash doesnt work either ..is this worth reapiring !! or should I claim on my Insurance ..I asked them and they told me to get a quote for reapir first ..then I guess they will pay me for the camera??
