fixing sticking lens sony dsc t1

OMG!!!!! I was in the lakes and a few photo shops were telling me it was a right off, started to smack it myself as it was making a noise and sounding like something had got stuck. tried a few times to hit it after reading the other notes but took about 15 attempts, tried the palm of my hand egde of table and eventually after two firmish hits on the base flat on a table it worked.... spending the saved money on beer which is much better!!!!!!!!!!
