"Lens Cap"

I'm having the problem with the lens cap as well. The camcorder thinks the lense cap is on, when in fact its not.

Will you please send me info on how to fix my camcorder. The camera thinks the lens cap is on when it isn't. Model no.GR-SXM260U. Thankyou.

    Yes! thats quite correct but please note it ONLY applies to original purchasers of the camcorder and who have proof on this fact in the form of a receipt.
