Can't transfer footage

Hi Stacy - I picked up a JVC hard disk drive camcorder model GZ-MG21U about a year ago. I've been able to record on it just fine but I can't transfer any footage on to my computer, TV or DVD. What do I need to do? The product didn't come with any kind of software. Kind Regards, Trine
