HomeWhat does error code 09-221 mean? Trying to get a sense of what the issue maybe and what it is going to cost to fix. Any help is appreciated. Also, is there a website where you can get a error code listing for the DSR-80's? Thanks! E

09-221 is "failure to complete threading within the specified time". in plain talk, the mechanism in the deck that threads the tape around the heads is not working. this could be a bad motor, bad gear, or even a bad tape. |
