I just replaced the lcd screen on my dsc-t1, and everything works fine except for the mode. The switch will move but is stuck in video mode. I am able to record video, but cannot do anything else!

I just replaced the lcd screen on my dsc-t1, and everything works fine except for the mode. The switch will move but is stuck in video mode. I am able to record video, but cannot do anything else! Is there something inside the camera that the mode switch needs to connect to? I cannot find anything! I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me! Thank you!
