Everyone on God's green earth wants to know why: A. there is no support on the JVC web site B. there is no FIREWIRE connect on the camera C. there is N O W H E R E to download the driver it claims it needs!!!!!!!!! We should all get our money back. Oh and WHY is that disclaimer down there??? Got a lot of ANGRY customers? Way to go.........

The drivers are available from the archives on jvc.com. So is the installation manual. The thing to note about installing the drivers are that you have to run through a 'hardware detected' 4 times before ImageMaker will see the camera. I downloaded the driver today (03/08/2008) so i know it's there. The DV connection is firewire. The driver is on the install disk that came with the camera, but only works with the still images on the SD. The firewire connection should not require a device driver. |
