Cybershot DSC W30 lense

The lense on my Cber-shot DSC W30 is broken. It won't close properly. We were quoted $150 to fix it at a local camera shop which doesn't seem worth it seeing as I can get a newer Cyber-shot for $240. Do you think it's worth fixing? What the approx charge?
