Home | Previous messageHi, This message is in reference to a JVC camcorder, model GR-SXM920U I'm repeatedly getting the error message "EO3" which states "Unit in safeguard mode. Remove and reattach battery." I've tried shutting down power, removing and reattaching battery several times, but still get the same error. Any suggestions? Thank you much! Vicki

As far as E-03 is concerned that is indicating that the cassette take up spindle is not turning properly, so as the first measure have you tried another tape? The "safeguard" mode just simply means that the mechanism has shut down because a fault has been detected, which could of course be the spindle. More detailed info can only be supplied to a DIRECT e-mail address. |
